Hi, I'm Samantha. I'm 17 and a law student in Western Australia. I'm unsure as to if I'll ever want kids, but they definitely don't fit my life for at least another 10 years.
I am...
- completely pro-choice
- supportive of same sex marriage and adoption
- pro-contraception
- in agreeance with the concept that some people should not be parents because they... well... are breeders... just generally it is iressponsible people that irk me
- not hating children in general at the moment, but sometimes individual ones bug me.
Hope to have a good time talking to all of you.

Hello!

I'm an American law student, and after I get my degree here I'm wanting to move away from this country and get another law degree elsewhere, so I can practice elsewhere.

What's required to get a law degree in Australia? How many years of school, and does it require a period of work before lisensure?

Laurie.

well... i'm not quite sure. i should ask one of my lecturers. one is American, one is Canadian.

For me, a basic degree is four years. Grad students may be different. there is a two year period of work, i think, before you pass the bar.
